Needless to say, things have been weird since GOP Sen. Mitch McConnell of Kentucky mysteriously disappeared from Congress, prompting questions about his health.

Shortly after fellow GOP Sen. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina died on July 11, McConnell finally let the world in on what’s been going on—though he failed to let his constituents know when he might be expected to make his way back to Congress. And as his absence drags on, people are growing increasingly skeptical of his prognosis and his ability to vote on behalf of Kentuckians.

While we all wait with bated breath, let’s at least enjoy these cartoons highlighting the mystery that is McConnell’s health. And feel free to share more of your favorites in the comments.
